Amanda Street

Amanda has over 25 years experience in the music, TV and film industry. She’s worked in music video production at 4D Films, a stint at MTV in the studios, seven years with Channel 4 Television (drama, film & documentaries) and Film4 as a Films Sales Executive in International sales. During her time at Film4 Amanda attended all the major film festivals and markets selling and marketing feature films from script through to theatrical release and beyond. Films included East is East, Sexy Beast, Gangster No.1, Charlotte Gray and Trainspotting to name but a few.

In 2003 she founded DNA Music Limited, a music agency that represents composers, providing score and music supervision services. As a result she has worked on numerous film, television and live productions including The Moonwalkers - A Journey With Tom Hanks working and recording with Tom Hanks himself at Abbey Road Studios, the hit series One Day (starring Leo Woodall, Ambika Mod) for Netflix, Scoop (starring Gillian Anderson, Billie Piper and Rufus Sewell) for Netflix, Mothers’ Instinct (starring Anne Hathaway and Jessica Chastain, Hijack (starring Idris Elba) for Apple TV+, Dangerous Liaisons for Starz/Lionsgate, Jane Campion’s In The Cut (starring Meg Ryan), Anand Tucker’s Shopgirl (starring Steve Martin) for Disney, Guy Ritchie’s Rock’nRolla (starring Gerard Butler), long-running ITV series including Endeavour and Lewis, Bart Layton’s heist movie American Animals (starring Evan Peters) and Mile 22 (starring Mark Wahlberg).

Amanda started writing various film treatments over the years and enjoyed the creative process. Her first screenplay is the thriller Mind’s Eye based on an original idea by Darran Bennett, then developed and written by Amanda. After reading G.P. Sirod’s book The Schooling of Hope Ballinger and The Case of The Lost Boy, she became passionate about turning the book into a screenplay so optioned it and adapted it to screenplay. Screenplays currently in the works are Lucky Rascal and Maverick featured on this site with other projects in development.
